What do you do when the weather man warns you that snow is coming? I like to be creative. Sometimes I do have to push myself but today I don’t. I’m in the kitchen making a crock pot of Beef Bourguignon to start my day. Yes cooking is a creative process no matter what anyone says. In my opinion that is.
As the Beef Bourguignon is slowly cooking in my crockpot I’m trying to come up with some pottery ideas for the upcoming holidays. Valentines Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter. Sketching some ideas in my journal, trying to stay on top of my #clayshare365challenge. I am excited about making new stuff that will hopefully sell on my etsy shop. https://www.etsy.com/shop/doublemuse Not looking to make a fortune selling my pottery (because lets face it there are not many rich potters out there) but just enough to support my pottery addiction.
I am also patiently waiting to unload my kiln. Another hour and I should be set. Next to deciding what colors to glaze my pottery the next most difficult thing for me is waiting for the kiln to cool down enough to open. You potters out there know what I mean. The struggle is real!!!
Finally out of the kiln.
I am pretty happy. Sorry the pictures aren’t great. But I got excited and wanted to post them. Better pictures will come soon.
Well the Beef Bourguignon is ready, I have a fresh loaf of crusty bread and my husband and I are hungry. Enjoy the snow, stay self and be creative.
